Underwater Treadmill

Have a look at the treadmill in action.

The underwater treadmill is a great tool for therapeutic exercise in dogs. The buoyancy supports weakened limbs and it reduces the concussion of each step. The water temperature is maintained between 85 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit, to warm muscles without overheating. Adjustment in treadmill speed, water depth, and incline can be made to tailor the exercise to each dog.

The underwater treadmill is ideal for weight loss as it provides exercise without stress on already overloaded joints.

Manual Therapy

Massage and stretching on a physioball also help to soothe sore muscles and joints.

Exercises are designed to target specific muscle groups.

Therapeutic Ultrasound

Therapeutic Ultrasound alleviates pain and stiffness and promotes healing.

Electric Stimulation

Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation helps to rebuild muscle that is lost when a limb is not used due to pain or injury. Animals suffering from neurological conditions can benefit from electrical stimulation to re-train their muscles.

Electro Stimulation is also used for pain control.
