Dogs Back In Motion, the canine physical rehabilitation division of Willow Creek Animal Hospital, is now open. The rehabilitation program is supervised by Dr. Jose Lucena.
Our goal is to increase mobility and control pain in dogs through the integration of the principals of veterinary medicine and physical therapy.
Each animal receives an individualized program based on initial evaluation. Techniques such as electrical stimulation, laser, ultrasound, manual therapy and therapeutic exercise are used. As treatments depend on individual needs and response to treatment, frequency and length of sessions vary.
